Kittichai

For the good ratings it had I think the food could have been a little better. It's not bad by any means, just not as impressive as I'd expected? I guess it's not a super pricey place per se. Which I thought it was.

Sinsong had the hot and sour seafood soup, the ingredients were good but a tad too salty overall.

The sweet Thai chilli sauce barbeque baby back ribs were great though, could have been a bit more tender.

We goth had pan seared mahi mahi which was just okaaaay I think. Wasn't crazy about it. Not that it was bad.

Dessert!!! Both the coconut creme caramel and flourless chocolate cake tasted great. I loved my coconut caramel~

Morimoto

Black cod bento box! The cod was done very nicely. The Wagyu Conan had somewhat less impressive. My sauce might have been a bit too sweet though, but when had sparingly it's great.

Also super nice tempura, everything else felt just okay. Dessert was good. Bathroom super cool!!!

Spot Dessert Bar

I thought $9 for a food court dessert was way too overpriced. But cuz I was with Noa and Jay and Melinda I figured it's half the price if I'm sharing with someone right! So got one to try. And omggggggg. It's so good.

I stand by my opinion that it's a bit pricey, but at least now I know that it's worth every penny~

Saturne

I think this was the best meal I had in Paris on my food trip besides Robuchon, made all the more interesting with their use of ingredients.

1st course - crumbs of blue cheese with leek and mustard flower, over parsley ice cream and pine nuts. I'm not a huge fan of strong cheese but this was well within my limits and suited the taste combination perfectly. Really refreshing and filled me with happpiness. :D

2nd - Normandy oyster with shallot cream, pear, raw radish and watercress. Oyster was super super good.

3rd - smoked eel with beetroot and horseradish cream. I think the beetroot was chilled, the contrast in temperature really does amazing things for the taste.

4th - brill, chorizo and fennel. The brill was very sweet and deliciously perfect with the sauces.

5th - grilled lamb. One of the best I've had, taste and cooking were perfection.

6th - goat cheese parfait with carrot sorbet. I could eat 5 of these. The goat cheese was soooo mild I didn't think it was possible. Complimented the carrot sorbet wonderfully.

7th - dark chocolate panache and straw ice cream. Yeah I know, straw ice cream, wtf? I had to ask the waitress to explain before she brought a bread basket that was cushioned with straws and said "straw, this". -_-;;; It smelled amazing, taste was pretty mild. My only complaint is probably that the dark chocolate was too sweet for me.

Will definitely go back again.

Kunjip

Omg the rabokki was so good. Sweet and not too crazily spicy.

The Korean sausage was nice too.

Sulung tang nice as usual.

Galbi!!! heart

Came down to $32 per person. Can prob afford to go without the sulungtang or something next time for a group of 5.

Nougatine at Jean Georges

Such a pretty view!

The fluke sashimi was nothing to write home about unfortunately. But parsnip soup with coconut and lime was delicious.

Salmon was cooked wonderfully and fusilli with mushroom bolognese and pecorino, despite being Italian, felt very American to me. Lol. Was great thought.

Warm chocolate was super good! Cinnamon roll was alright.

Barbetta

Appetizer was garganelli in tomato and basil sauce. Was nice.

Main broiled Atlantic salmon with herbed sauce and cucumbers. Wasn't too thrilling.

Dessert mousse of orange bittersweet chocolate. Super good. Love it when they don't get too sweet.

Manyee had the roast chicken which was very tender and I think better than my salmon.

Their bread was super super addictive!
